Martha's visit

My friend Martha we haven't seen each other since 1981...it was a great visit

Poetry at the Lyric Theatre

Jason reading his poetry at the Lyric Theatre in Swift Current Sask, in February

Be your self and One Now

Be your self.
See your self
Take your self
See your self
Be it now
It's you
See it now.

Be your self
see your self
that's your self.
So be it.
Take your self
look at your self.
Be your self.
Take your self.
So be it.
It's you now.
How beautiful you always are.

Grandma and Grandpa...

This was just too cute not to pass on.

Grandma & Grandpa

Grandma and Grandpa were visiting their kids overnight.

When Grandpa found a bottle of Viagra in
his son's medicine cabinet,
he asked
about using one of the pills.

The son said, "I don't think you should

take one Dad; they're very strong and very expensive."

"How much?" asked Grandpa.

"$10.00 a pill," Answered the son.

"I don't care," said Grandpa, "I'd still like to try one ,

and before we leave in the morning,
I'll put the money under the pillow."

Later the next morning, the son found
$110 under the pillow.
He called Grandpa and said,
"I told
you each pill was $10, not $110.

"I know," said Grandpa.
"The
hundred is from Grandma!"

I came across this....

See the DNA.....

I always Thought
when I was younger that I didn't look like my sister, she was like a princess to me, long blond flowing hair a huge smile, green eyes that sparkled..... popular....
now I look in the mirror and see her often; like she was as a mature woman.......
and I smile...she is always with me, it's in the DNA,; she's in all of us.......

SEE THE DNA....

Looking back

I think this was 1973 at the EX
This is us in 1963
before we came to Canada

A Dream
by Edgar Allen Poe(1829)

In visions of the dark night
I have dream’d of joy departed —
But a waking dream of life and light
Hath left me broken hearted:

And what is not a dream by day
To him whose eyes are cast
On things around him with a ray
Turn’d back upon the past?

That holy dream — that holy dream,
While all the world were chiding,
Hath cheer’d me as a lovely beam
A lonely spirit guiding:

What tho’ that light, thro’ storm and night
So trembled from afar —
What could there be more purely bright
In Truth’s day-star ? —

Reality of Life

I just Love these pictures, they where taken in my Garden near Meaford, ON

Reality of Life

Life isn't just full of happiness,
It's sunsets, it's love, it's tears.
It's the thoughts of yesterdays memories,
That can wash away all out fears.

It's that very painful experience,
That each one of us has had.
It's the laughter that fills the air,
It's the tears when you are sad.

It's loving that someone special,
That at one time made you smile.
It's the pain of losing that person,
But the memories that make it worthwhile.

It's that child in every one of us,
Although in time we'll all be old.
It's the good times we'll never forget,
It's the memories we'll always hold.

It's the hug that we all need,
When we'd rather drown in our sorrow.
It's the hope in every one of us,
That makes us hold on for tomorrow.

Happy New Year 2

I call this Ukrainian New Year a tradition of celebrating using the Georgian calendar.
