Angels

Everybody can be great...because anybody can serve.
You don't have to have a college degree to serve.
You don't have to make your subject and verb agree to serve.
You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.
~ Martin Luther King Jr.
Your pain is the breaking of the shell that encloses your understanding.
Even as the stone of the fruit must break, that its heart may stand in the sun, so must you know pain.
And could you keep your heart in wonder at the daily miracles of your life, your pain would not seem less wondrous than your joy;
And you would accept the seasons of your heart, even as you have always accepted the seasons that pass over your fields.
And you would watch with serenity through the winters of your grief.
From "On Pain" by Khalil Gibran

Nature Heals

Though we can’t always see it at the time, if we look upon events with some perspective, we see things always happen for our best interests. We are always guided in a way better than we know ourselves.

Hearts Calling

don’t let the pain,
of the past-
hold your soul hostage,
giving dark memories homage-
holding them,
to your deep-
you’re stuck in your repeat,
of sorrow,
oh let the grace of today,
brings releasing your way-
to drink from the cup of love,
flowing into your tomorrows.
why crave to hold on,
to that place-
where you do not belong,
trapped in time-
to a life that was,
your wounds cry-
to be healed,
I know the way-
you feel.
hanging on often,
feels like comfort-
but the ache brings,
a fog of darkness to your soul-
let the entanglement,
that holds you-
unravel,
let the past-
that has traveled,
to your mind-
what has caused,
your real life to pause-
what clings let it drop,
and fall away…
come let love,
walk you back to-
the healing space of you,
holding your soul to now-
living life,
in forgiving freedom,
don’t waste,
one more breath of life-
living as past’s victim.

Heart's Calling

The beautiful seeds of love and compassion are within all of us. When we awaken to the reality that love is the only path, the only way...then we will blossom and grow, opening our hearts and opening up to life in wonderful, new and meaningful ways.

and non-attachment means simply letting be.

Once Again

what takes me away from life,
from living for the giving-
what presses so hard,
against my existence-
when I want to forge through,
to push back with exact measure-
and loving motivation.
what motivates me,
to bring in the mighty of me-
to come full charge against-
what holds me back,
and say “no more!”
to take the strength that resides,
in me-
let it build up inside,
of me-
living life as it should be,
with vision,
passion that fuels-
the flames of my fire,
reaching ever so higher-
past complacency-
that settles for empty.
fill the well of my soul,
water of life-
overflow,
onto me, onto you, onto the world.
one step,
here I come-
for life has just begun,
yes again-
as it ends,
it begins-
once again.

The day I understood everything, was the day I stopped trying to figure everything out.
The day I knew peace was the day I let everything go.
~ C. JoyBell C.

I wish you enough

'I wish you enough,'wanting the other person to have a life filled with enough good things to sustain them,

I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun more.
I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive.
I wish you enough pain so that the smallest joys in life appear much bigger.
I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting.
I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess.
I wish enough "Hello's" to get you through the final "Good-bye.."

Stand still

The trees before you and the bushes beside you are not lost.
Wherever you are is a place called Here,
And you must treat it as a powerful stranger,
Must ask permission to know it and be known.
The forest breathes. Listen. It answers,
I have made this place around you,
If you leave it you may come back again saying Here.
No two trees are the same to Raven.
No two branches the same to Wren.
If what a tree or a bush does is lost on you,
You are surely lost. Stand still. The forest knows
Where you are. You must let it find you.

I am She…Creativity

I am she,

 creativity-

power that takes me,
to my passion.
Joan of Arc,
holding tight-
my sword of truth,
I rise amongst the-
weeping fields,
that hold my soul-
to becoming.
endings now,
turning into-
my beginnings-
awakening in me now.
before the movement-
of my creative way,
I remained closed like-
a tight bulb rose,
cold in its protecting-
unwilling to open,
until the light came-
streaming through to,
the heart of me,
bringing me to free.
my passion song,
hums through me-
I am close to,
my soul’s calling-
I hold love as my strength,
compassion my way-
I find myself-
entering the she,
I was always meant to be.

Life

Life is not a race-but indeed a journey. Be honest. Work hard. Be choosy. Say “thank you”. “I love you”, and “great job” to someone each day. Take time for prayer. Be thankful. Love your life and what you’ve been given, it is not accidental. Search for your purpose and do it as best you can. Dreaming does matter. It allows you to become that which you aspire to be. Laugh often. Appreciate the little things in life and enjoy them. Some of the best things really are free. Do not worry. Forgive, it frees the soul. Take time for yourself. Plan for longevity. Recognize the special people you’ve been blessed to know. Live for today, enjoy the moment.

Happy New Year 2

I call this Ukrainian New Year a tradition of celebrating using the Georgian calendar.
