ONE

One…
One tree can start a forest,
One smile can begin a friendship,
One hand can lift a soul,
One word can frame the goal,
One candle can wipe out darkness,
One laugh can conquer gloom,
One hope can raise our spirits,
And…one choice can change your life.

Sagittarius Daily horoscope for June 23, 2013

You have one foot in your past and the other foot in your future today. The restrictive Capricorn Full Moon falls in your 2nd House of Values, binding you to old beliefs and traditions. However, you're tempted to leave everything behind and make a mad dash forward. Unfortunately, your tendency to aim high means that you could overextend your energy. Focus on reaching a conservative goal now, instead of falling short of an unrealistic one. Success is yours if you keep your feet on the ground.
This is a collage I designed wow 10 years ago for my family reunion but
it never happened maybe this year LOL since I will be heading back mid July to live in Toronto.

Self Acceptance

Self-acceptance - Balance of ones wants and ones needs to further grow towards happiness, happiness that lasts, not just here and there.. To be in balance is to accept not only your life but also your own self worth. To allow your self not only to take time for one's self but also accept that you are worth taking time for.. If I work with my head down only to save for a home. Did I take time to really spend time with the ones I love and enjoy spending time with? Or did I only work and forget the value of who I am and what I'm working for. Acceptance of self is to allow your self to take time each and every day to do what you want. Your worth it and so am I. You and your time are more valuable than all the gold and money on this planet. Self-acceptance a key to your heart and happiness and the gate way to your happiness now.. To stand on two legs in perfect balance of who you are.

Lil dose of Humor :

SCHOOL LUNCH

"The children were lined up in the cafeteria of a Catholic elementary school for lunch. At the head of the table was a large pile of apples. The nun had posted a note on the apple tray: "Take only ONE. God is watching." Moving further along the lunch line, at the other end of the table was a large pile of chocolate chip cookies. A child had written a note, "Take all you want. God is watching the apples."

Summer

Like these children we need to keep it simple through the summer and on

Advice for my boys

25 Things I’d Like My Sons to Know | Tom Matlack

~ Which of these resonate or inspire? Which do you reject or puzzle over? Which are the most important? ~

...1. It’s harder to take a punch than to throw one.

2. Find the people who make you laugh and follow them around like a golden retriever. Laughing is like a vitamin. You can never get enough of it.

3. A guy who hugs a lot is comfortable in his own skin.

4. Read poetry.

5. There’s nothing wrong with looking at porn, but having sex with someone you care about is a thousand times more fun.

6. When you feel like crying, for joy or out of pain, let ‘er rip. If you don’t get those tears out, they will calcify in your chest and make it harder to love as fully and deeply as you would like to.

7. Crank the tunes when you have to clean the house.

8. Look deeply into the eyes of the one you are falling for to get a glimpse of his or her soul.

9. Spend a chunk of time every year with people who are much less fortunate than you are. It will fill your heart with gratitude.

10. Never lie about anything really important. The first lie will cause you to have to lie again and again to cover up the truth. And each time you’ll chip away an important piece of yourself.

11. Find work that makes you happy. If you can change the world in the process all the better.

12. If you get the chance to travel across the country or across the globe, take it. You will learn way more from people who are different from you than the ones who are the same.

13. Doing nothing is better than doing the wrong thing. But you are going to make mistakes. Tons of them. The real question is what you will learn from them.

14. Don’t be in any rush to get married. Divorce really sucks. A good marriage can start when you’re 21 or 61.

15. There’s nothing wrong with a Cuban cigar once in a while.

16. Money and power look good, but they won’t fill your being with joy the way your family will.

17. If you like guys, I will fight for your ability to have equal rights in every way.

18. Find a way to move your body that gives you pleasure. You don’t have to be an athlete to be a man, but your body is a temple and you need to care for it, enjoy it, and use it to express yourself.

19. Drinking can be fun in moderation. Just make sure to ask for help if you find yourself blacking out or doing things you regret.

20. Radical honesty will get you very far in this world. Most people don’t have the guts to speak their mind, regardless of the consequences.

21. Always give your spouse birthday presents in bed.

22. Find a spirituality that you can wear like a loose coat that keeps you warm no matter the weather. God should provide you comfort not make you feel ashamed of yourself.

23. Sex is great but holding your spouse in the middle of the night is one of the best feelings any guy can have.

24. Live passionately. Dream big. Don’t back down.

25. Always remember I love you, no matter what happens. You cannot lose me. I will always be there.

Dawn

An angel robed in spotless white
bent down and kissed the sleeping night,
night woke to blush, the sprite was gone,
men saw the blush and called it Dawn.
Paul Dunbar

Freedon

"I AM free. I am free to not be offended, and I have no desire to allow any experience, circumstance..., judgement, or mindset to cause blockage in the flow of my vibrational energy. I consciously choose what comes into my life, as well as what goes.

Right now there is peace above me, peace below me, peace to the left, peace to the right... and in this moment I consciously allow peace to move THROUGH me as well. Wrapped in this peace, my heart is open, and it beats to the rhythm of love. In this vibration, I know that I am safe to let go completely, putting my trust and faith into this miraculous, bountiful universe.

From this day forward, I am going to live my life more fully through the direction and guidance of my Spirit, honor the highest good in the journey and ascension of my Soul, put more action into that which serves my Highest Good and release that which does not.

And so it is. Amen."

Being You

“You are not your body. You are not your weight on the scale. You are not the amount of calories you eat. You are not the way you dress or how you wear your hair. You are not your GPA, your education level, or your college degree. You are not your income, the cost of your clothes, or the size of your house. You are not the number of people you have slept with. You are not your sadness or your pain. You are not your scars or your mistakes. You are not defined by anything that can be seen by the naked eye. You are the things you love. You are your favourite music. You are your hopes and dreams. You are the size of your heart and your capacity to endure. You are your passions and the things that make you come alive. You are the jokes that make you laugh and the words that soothe your soul. You are the way you treat the people around you. You are everything and anything that moves you. You are what your bring to the world. You are a force of friendship and love. You are a warrior and a survivor. And no matter who you are, where you come from, or what you have been through, you are important and you matter.”
