Sometimes
sometimes this wounded world,
rains upon me-
with tears lamenting,
I hold the pain breaking-
giving it to the open sky.
rains upon me-
with tears lamenting,
I hold the pain breaking-
giving it to the open sky.
sometimes I laugh,
with my children-
sharing stories that-
trickle moments of time,
upon my heart like stardust-
falling from a timeless sky.
with my children-
sharing stories that-
trickle moments of time,
upon my heart like stardust-
falling from a timeless sky.
sometimes my movement is slow,
fearful of letting go-
tiny steps taking,
upon my earth path,
then I look up to see-
the cloudless iridescent blue,
in my waking sky.
fearful of letting go-
tiny steps taking,
upon my earth path,
then I look up to see-
the cloudless iridescent blue,
in my waking sky.
sometimes my movement is wide,
with desire of dancing-
twirling and spiraling towards,
the rainbow that holds-
the music in the passionate sky.
with desire of dancing-
twirling and spiraling towards,
the rainbow that holds-
the music in the passionate sky.
sometimes I just sit quietly,
in the breath of my resting-
laying on green grass gently,
grateful for the universal sky.
in the breath of my resting-
laying on green grass gently,
grateful for the universal sky.

is often everything,

becomes nothing compared to-

Joy Holds True

How do you allow hope to bring you to joy?

How do you allow hope to bring you to joy?
joy holds the cup,
of all my sorrows-
that tries to draw on my yesterdays,
and crush my tomorrows,
catching hope in my breath,
and letting it spill out-
exuberance upon my day.
joy comes with effervescence,
not collapsing into hiding or-
camouflaging my life with what
the world would call
the better things of life.
what really counts,
is how love holds your joy-
on the inside-
allowing life to be,
to flow into,
vital moments with passion-
hope rises like a sun beam,
from my broken being-
an inner knowing,
allowing myself-
to bring me,
to the ease of me,
resting in the hope-
that today is held,
in the joy that resides in me.

Magic
"Magic exists. Who can doubt it, when there are Rainbows and Wild flowers, the Music of the Wind and the Silence of the Stars? Anyone who has Loved has been touched by Magic. It is such a simple and such an extraordinary part of the lives we live.”
