Who would of thought
Who would have thought it possible that a tiny little flower could preoccupy a person so completely that there simply wasn't room for any other thought.

The Garden of my Soul
the garden of my soul,
releases my bloom-
my
she,
awaits her-
flowering.
tender rebirth,
of my secret holding-
I lift my heart,
through hands releasing-
open arms wide,
to hold my sky-
awake from my night,
unfolding-
naked from my despair,
naked from my disguise-
clothe in the,
fragrant beauty-
of just me.
rose to thorn,
rain to storm,
sand to desert flower-
I have the power,
to look with eyes-
tenderly,
what wounds me-
heals me,
brings me to my flourishing.
releases my bloom-
my
she,
awaits her-

Do you
Do you know what you are?
You are a manuscript oƒ a divine letter.
You are a mirror reflecting a noble face.
This universe is not outside of you.
Look inside yourself;
everything that you want,
you are already that.
You are a manuscript oƒ a divine letter.
You are a mirror reflecting a noble face.
This universe is not outside of you.
Look inside yourself;
everything that you want,
you are already that.
With every breath
With every breath I plant the seeds of devotion - I am a farmer of the Heart.
~ Rumi
If I wander far
if I wander far,
from myself now and then-
a thread of love,
reels me to my soul again,
against all doubts-
that lavish my mind,
in time…
when I unwind from me,
unraveling-
love’s thread pulls me back,
to me.
when I stray,
into my wandering thoughts-
that catch me,
gasping for air-
no fear will keep me there,
in love’s weave of life-
into her canopy,
I am caught-
carried back to my heart,
back to the gentle wisdom-
that shows me,
the warmth of light-
guiding me back to me.

Wasting Time
no more wasting my time,
start living my life-
standing at the edge,
all this time-
when will I realize,
I can fly-
soar on through to,
the breath of my sky-
no more wasting my time,
take a moment to see-
I am more than just me,
got to let go of what’s-
holding onto me,
sometimes I leave on-
regret and memories,
like a garment to wear-
making it harder out there,
in the world.
So let it fall from my skin,
see the truth that’s within-
no more wasting my time,
got to get on living my life-
no tasks or fix it lists,
making it harder-
than it is,
with no shame or-
or no blame,
or giving it a name-
to hang heavy over me,
I can let go-
and be just me.
no more wasting my time,
let me rise with the stars and shine-
in the corner of my sky,
see the brilliance of my light-
and I can fly…
and I can soar…
I am more than what people see,
I am the she-
inside of me,
living my life from the inside.

Simplification
"The simplification of life is one of the steps to inner peace.
A persistent simplification will create an inner and outer
well-being that places harmony in one's life." — Peace Pilgrim

Sometimes
sometimes…
the door that is closed,
is me-
I seal the way,
to path,
to choice,
to living,
closed in my own sheltering-
it prevents me,
from entering-
through to the other side,
of me.

sometimes…
I am the void,
that speaks of unspeakable doom-
fear that is like,
a weight to my feet-
unable to move,
I release it to-
my soul’s choice,
feet reach high-
to jump across,
my uncertain sky-
leaping into my movement.

sometimes…
I am my doubt,
I create this space-
in my mind,
trying to figure it all out-
let the lessons come,
let the living come,
to serve the best of me-
if I step,
out of my way-
to find the one,
who is always here-
waiting for me to choose…
to live,
to dance,
to breathe.
